Meet Lisa Tarr
Owner of First Steps Pediatric Therapy

Meet Lisa Tarr
Lisa Tarr is a dedicated pediatric physical therapist with a deep passion for improving the lives of children. She graduated from Colorado State University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science, a minor in neuro anatomy, and went on to earn her master’s degree from Regis University in 2001.
Lisa has devoted her career to helping children develop greater independence and confidence. Her philosophy centers on child-led treatments and working closely with the family unit. By focusing on each child’s unique developmental needs, she and her team build confidence and support children in achieving their fullest potential.
“During the pandemic, I felt the strong urge to unite as a community, and I have worked to pursue the dreams of serving the community at a greater capacity. I opened a brick-and-mortar location so that First Steps Clinic will empower families to confidently support their children’s needs and promote their growth and development.
“This focus on human growth development and successful strategies will allow families to feel more connected and supported, leading to better outcomes for children and parents alike.
“Our unique approach of providing parent education models will also foster a sense of community among families, providing additional support and resources for those who may feel isolated or unsure of where to turn. Whether you want in-home services for your medically fragile child, or clinic based services, our team can serve your child and family unit.”
